A 3-year diploma (Polytechnic) provides hands-on technical training and makes you industryready faster. Diploma holders can also enter B.Tech in 2nd year (lateral entry), effectively saving one year compared to direct B.Tech entry.

Yes. Civil Engineering diploma holders are eligible for Junior Engineer (JE) posts in Bihar state government (PWD, CPWD, Railways, NHAI, etc.) and central government PSUs after clearing the respective competitive examinations.
